One of the main barriers to develop table tennis world-wide is the lack of equipment at affordable prices and the long and expensive process to import tables from abroad.
A local production allows self-sustainability to national associations and clubs but also enables to reduce ecological print as there is no longer a worlwide shipping of the tables.
In partnership with ITTF, theorical and practical sessions have been organised to build hancrafted table tennis tables. The traning has enabled to build eight handcrafted tables, which will be later given to schools in Abidjan.
